Google has a “Location History” setting, and warns users that if they turn it off, “the places you go to will not be saved,” Texas said.
Google “continues to track user location through other settings and methods that are not properly disclosed,” Texas said.
In May 2020, Arizona filed a similar lawsuit against Google over the collection of user location data. That suit is waiting.
