The victims of the accident in south-central Sweden were members of a local paragliding club.
A small plane carrying paragliders crashed on the outskirts of the Swedish city of Orebro on Thursday night, killing nine people there, police said.
The dead included a pilot and eight passengers, police said.

Swedish Maritime Administration spokesman Carl-Johan Linde told SVT radio and television that the accident must have a “link” to the plane’s take-off.
The plane exploded on fire when it looked like an open field.
“There was no life to save,” said local fire chief Per-Ove Staberyd, who coordinates the work of firefighters and other first responders.
Police learned of the accident before 7.30pm (5.30pm GMT) and immediately learned that it was a “very serious incident”, regional deputy police chief Niclas Hallgren said on Friday.
He said investigating the accident would be “difficult work”. “He’ll need his time,” Hallgren added.
The official did not provide details about the victims or wanted to speculate on the circumstances that led to the accident. The Swedish authorities immediately sent a team to investigate the accident on the outskirts of Orebro, an accident 164km (102 miles) west of Stockholm.
The Dagens Nyheter newspaper identified the De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver single-engine and propeller aircraft.
Prime Minister Stefan Lofven wrote on Twitter that he was “deeply saddened and saddened” by the news of the accident, and expressed his “deepest sympathy”.
The flags were hoisted in the middle of the Orebron mast and the prime minister said in a sudden press conference that Friday was “a day of mourning in Sweden”.
