MMA legend Anderson Silva will face Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in a boxing fight in June

MMA fans of a certain age will surely remember UFC legend Anderson Silva and Roy Jones Jr. debates about a potential boxing match between boxing, this fight was never carried out, but since Silva was no longer in the UFC contract, he is a former middleweight champion. He will return to the boxing ring for the first time since 2005 with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in front of the eldest son of Julio Cesar Chavez.

A press release sent out on Tuesday confirmed that it would be entitled to a payment ceremony on June 19 entitled “Tribute to the Kings” on June 19 from Guadalajara, Mexico. Mr. Chavez will enter his final champ on the card in a boxing match against Hector Camacho Jr..

Chavez is 6-5 in the previous 11 fights, including several disappointing performances and Mario Abel Cazares ’tremendous loss in November.

“I am dedicated to the sport I love and will be ready to face anyone in the lightweight division starting with Silva,” Chavez said in a statement. “I will be ready to be victorious on June 19.”
