Grab announced yesterday (November 2) that it has joined the Lazada e-commerce platform to offer GrabExpress delivery to its vendors.

This allows sellers to offer same-day shipping services to Singapore buyers, which unites them. ”fast trade“.

“We are shipping on the same day to a growing segment of consumers who need to deliver products quickly, and as the end-of-year season approaches, we anticipate that more consumers will choose same-day delivery while preparing last-minute gifts for their loved ones.”

When browsing a product on Lazada, customers can select the “Immediate” shipping option before ordering eligible products.

The price starts at S $ 3.19 for shipments from 0 to 5 km, which increases accordingly to a maximum delivery distance of 30 km. The service is on weekdays and orders placed before 3pm will be delivered the same day.

Lazada intends to expand this group of traders and bring in more vessels.

“As consumers become more accustomed to speed and convenience when shopping online, companies have also had to explore new ways to comply with these new shopping habits,” said Ngiam Xin Wei Grab, Singapore’s Managing Director of Shipping.

“Over the last year, we’ve seen more businesses fill GrabExpress touch requests on the last mile on the same day. So we’ve introduced programs GrabExpress Towkay Club it is aimed at helping small businesses increase their operations. ”
