The ATP Tour could soon be making long baths in matches. According to a Reuters report, The ATP Tour plans to have stricter rules when players leave the court for a break in the bathroom. Players can thank Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas for this potential change.

The situation reached a breaking point at the US Open earlier this month when Tsitsipas was there accused of making a long trip to the toilet Andy Murray during his match. Murray was upset after Tsitsipas was out on the court for eight minutes. The English tennis player said the interruption changed the outcome of the match.

It became a custom for Tsitsipas. In his next match, Tsitsipas went to the toilet for more than seven minutes after losing the third set against Adrian Mannarino. Eventually, Tsitsipas returned to win the match.

“The rules for rest breaks in the toilet and on medical court time will also change,” an ATP source told Reuters. “I hope we have a stricter rule before next season starts in January when it comes to rest breaks and medical times.”

According to Reuters, an ATP spokesman also revealed that there will be a review of the rules on rest breaks in addition to medical time limits. The WTA said it is “always open to dialogue and rule-making if changes are needed.”

Murray isn’t the only tennis star to take up the issue with long breaks. Former US Open champion Sloane Stephens, who serves on the WTA players ’council, believes long bath breaks are a lack of sportsmanship. In addition, Alexander Zverev called Tsitsipas’ lack of etiquette “unacceptable” in a game last month.

Tsitsipas has at least one follower in his corner: Novak Djokovic.

“I have to side with Stefanos Tsitsipas,” Djokovic said at the U.S. Open, according to Retures. “I don’t think he’s doing anything wrong. I admit it.
