Governments encourage “working from home” because workers demand a better work-life balance.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic almost two years ago, many of us have had to change the way we work.

Working from home is becoming more common as people avoid crowded offices and transportation systems.

While this is an option for some, health care and hospitality staff do not have that opportunity.

Moreover, the pandemic has led to what some have called the “Great Resignation” in industrialized nations.

Millions of employees who are dissatisfied with their work have left to fill roles that provide a better work and life balance.

So will 2022 be a turning point in labor relations?
