Tielemans was injured outside of the World Cup qualifiers in Belgium

Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans has been ruled out of his national team’s next World Cup qualifier due to injury, the federation reported on Tuesday.

Federation spokesman Stefan Van Loock said the Leicester player would miss Group E matches against Estonia earlier this week and on 16 November in Wales.

Belgium will qualify for next year’s World Cup by beating Estonia, or if Wales do not beat Belarus on Saturday.

The Belgian federation has not specified the whereabouts of Tielemans’ injury. He was injured last weekend when he drew 1-1 with Leicester against Premier League side Leeds. Leicester coach Brendan Rodgers said Tielemans’ calf was injured after the match.
