UEFA will not act after investigating allegations of racism in Sweden’s Elanga

UEFA will not take any action after that investigating claims Anthony Elanga, who suffered racist abuse at Manchester United’s wing last month while playing for Italy in Sweden’s Under-21s, was announced by the European football governing body on Monday.

Elanga, 18, added: “Of course, I am very disappointed, I know what I have heard and what has happened. I hope the appeal can lead to something. ”

The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has always denied the allegations, even providing video evidence of the incident.

Elanga has made three appearances for United and scored against Wolverhampton Wanderers on the final day of the Premier League last season.
