Ezra Blount is the 10th person to die after attending the Houston Music Festival.

A 9-year-old boy has become the youngest to die as a result of injuries sustained in a crowd at the Astroworld music festival in Houston (USA).

Ezra Blount of Dallas died Sunday at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, family lawyer Ben Crump said.

Ezra was placed in a medical-induced coma after suffering serious injuries from the November 5 oppression of fans during a performance by rapper festival director Travis Scott. The 10th person to go to the festival dies.

Treston Blount, Ezra’s father, described what happened on November 5 in a post he created on his GoFundMe page to help pay for Ezra’s medical expenses.

He said that Ezra was sitting on his shoulders when he was trampled by a rising crowd. The father lost consciousness, and when he came, Blount said Ezra was missing. A furious search was carried out until they were eventually found at Ezra Hospital, seriously injured.

The child suffered severe brain, kidney and liver damage after being “kicked, crushed and crushed and almost crushed to death,” according to a lawsuit filed by his family against the organizer of the event in Scott and Live Nation.

The Blount family is demanding at least $ 1 million in compensation.

The rest of the dead were between 14 and 27 years old. About 300 people were treated at the festival site and 13 were hospitalized.

Houston police and fire investigators said they are reviewing a surveillance video provided by the promoter of Live Nation concerts, as well as dozens of clips from the show that spread on social media.

The researchers also planned to talk to representatives of Live Nation, Scott and the concerts.

Scott and the event organizers are now the focus of a criminal investigation.
