Donald Trump has tried to use “executive privilege” to block the release of documents to the House panel examining the Capitol incidents.

A U.S. court of appeals has ruled out an attempt to contain the release of former White House President Donald Trump records related to the murder. January 6 uprising US Capitol.

Three judges at the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington DC said Thursday that Trump did not “base” his request.

“Two branches agree that there is a special legislative need for these documents and that they are directly relevant to the Commission’s investigation into an attack on the legislature and its constitutional role in the peaceful transfer of constitutional power,” the judges wrote in the ruling.

“The committee is investigating a special event in the history of this nation where there is a factual predicate enough to conclude that former President Trump and his advisers were of material importance.”

The former president of the Republic tried to make it an “executive privilege” to block the release of documents U.S. House of Representatives Committee Investigating the Capitol incident.

The panel said it would hold a business meeting on Monday to vote on a report advising the entire House of Meadows to report contempt to Congress and submit it to the federal prosecution.

A former Trump adviser, Steve Bannon, will also face criminal charges on July 18 for refusing to appear in the Congressional investigation, a judge said earlier this week.

Bannon zen imputed one contempt for refusing to appear before the committee and another for refusing to present documents.
