What it is and how to do it to relieve stress quickly – Wired PR Lifestyle Story

[ad_1]

We are always looking for better ways to manage stress. Whether that is the case or not meditation, deep breaths, a nice detox bath, spend time landing outside, going in search of a walk, or a quick stretch sesh, is a great tool to add a little peace of mind to your daily routine. And if you’re interested in adding something else to your arsenal to reduce your stress, we have only one thing. Introduce the Emotional Freedom Technique, EFT tapping or a healing modality that can help relieve anxiety, relieve stress and negative tension by hitting specific meridian points.

After talking to Kim Murray, EFT practitioner and meditation teacher, tapping on all things, I decided to give it a try on a particularly stressful day and was really amazed at how I felt afterwards. My heart rate slowed, I felt my brain clearer, and I carried that sensation (and configuration statement, later on!) Throughout the day.

Tapping therapy can help you feel stuck in certain emotions and give you the tools to move those feelings. If you’re curious about how touching EFT can help you, Murray is here for us to break this down.

What is EFT Tapping?

Based on the combined principles of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology, EFT tapping was designed to calm the central nervous system by pressing lightly on specific meridian points rather than needing to stimulate points. As Murray shares, “It’s also neurolinguistic programming (using the voice to restore the brain) and that’s why it’s so powerful in helping you overcome your negative limiting beliefs, and it’s amazing to get to the root of a problem.”

Does EFT work?

Can be used when pressed so many different ways Murray points out, and the benefits are great, because you’re balancing your nervous system. Recent exams EFT tapping has been shown to help reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as well as physical pain. In another study, participants had lower heart rate, cortisol levels, and lower blood pressure after beating.

Murray points out that working to remove physical blocks from the body can have positive effects on your brain while allowing you to process everything you are struggling with in things like anxiety, depression, self-doubt, lack of confidence. , sleep problems, past trauma, the list of floods is endless!

What benefits does the touch offer?

One of the most powerful ways to use tapping therapy is to process past trauma (large or small). “It helps your brain effectively get a basic negative belief, the fear of phobia, and then it removes the emotional burden,” Murray explains. “It allows your brain and body to process the past and ultimately free you from their hands.”

How might people feel after using EFT?

Murray shares that it can be a very emotional process and people often cry and experience big releases. “This is really beneficial for your nervous system, but whether you cry or not, people always describe that after the process you feel much calmer, focused and calmer,” he says.
