It’s almost end of August. If you’re like me, you’re already thinking, where did summer go? It is still very hot, and there may also be time for another trip to the surrounding waters, but it also looks like the fall will come quickly. And if you go back to college or school, your fall is already here. Fortunately, we have some good deals to make the transition easier. This MacBook deal has been in effect for a few weeks, but it’s enough to re-enter it this week. You can save a little more and get a couple of AirPods for free. All you need .edu email address. M1 Air (9/10, recommended by WIRED) is also perfect for school: it’s light, has a full day’s battery, and is powerful enough for most people.
Do you prefer Windows over macOS? No problem, Microsoft’s Surface Pro 7 (8/10, recommended by WIRED), one of our favorites Windows laptops, is also for sale. It’s also a great option for college, as it’s lightweight and easy to transport with excellent battery life. This deal is on a 10-generation Intel Core i5 model with 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of SSD. Several other models are also on sale if you need more storage space.
Not a big discount, but if you want a new iPad Pro (8/10, recommended by WIRED), this deal will save you a few dollars when you are definitely the most powerful iPad on the market. The 12.9-inch model is also Apple’s newest display technology on sale for $ 999 ($ 100 discount). This isn’t a big discount either, but Apple’s Pencil doesn’t go on sale very often. It’s a good idea to make or write sketches on your iPad. Note that it is a pencil of the second genre, in the latest iPad Pro models and 2020 iPad Air. Make sure you check whether yours is accepted before you buy.
This is a good deal on a well-stocked laptop. It won’t have the build quality of more expensive machines (in other words, it’s plastic), but if you choose the Ryzen 7 processor, 256 memory storage, and 1920 x 1080 Brightview screen, you’ll be powerful without breaking the machine bench.
Android tablets aren’t our favorite — Android isn’t optimized for tablets — but if you don’t mind the oddities Lenovo P11 Pro it’s cheap, especially with this price. Our main gesture is to have no headphone connection, but that’s not a problem if you have to wireless headphones. This deal is on eBay, but it’s new and Lenovo sells it directly.
The Galaxy S21 is among us Favorite Android phones. It has an excellent camera system, full battery life, lots of power and a wonderful 120 Hz AMOLED display. You’ll also get four years of software and security updates, which is almost more than any other Android phone. It’s close to the lowest price we’ve ever seen.

Apple Watch Series 6 (8/10, recommended by WIRED) added a blood oxygen measuring instrument and slightly increased the screen size. This is still the case best fitness follower for iPhone and The best Apple Watch.
The price of this watch varies, but this is one of the lowest prices we have seen since June. We like the instinct for the long battery life and the whole variety when it comes to sport tracking and navigation functions. (See our a full review of the solar-powered version, similar.) It’s cheaper than the Garmin Fenix but does almost as much. Moreover, as Adrienne So, editor-in-chief of WIRED, says, “it’s attractive, in an ugly way.”
It’s a great fitness tracker for runners and triathletes, and it’s rarely cheap. It is equipped with applications such as running, walking, climbing, rowing, cycling and skiing. Read our The best fitness followers a guide to other options.

Good digital frames they are expensive, so it’s nice to see any discounts. Among the Nixplay frames we’ve tried, we prefer a 10.1-inch frame over a 9.7-inch frame. The resolution is lower, but you wouldn’t know it unless you looked at it side by side. Nixplay recently released it touch screen model we haven’t tried it yet, but the untouched frame is still a good bet.
It’s a good thing in one of our favorite routers. With Wi-Fi 6 support it looks to the future and will easily cover most apartments and homes. If you have a lot of space, you’ll be better off with a network system, but for everyone else this works. See our complete guide to buying a router for more tips.
This percussion device is often discounted, but it is capable compete with large weapons sometimes it costs hundreds of dollars. It combines high pressure and heat to relax sore muscles. It’s not that strong, but that can be good.
This is a newer Instant Pot, and has an air fryer, which is probably not necessary. However, if you want a device that can do everything, it fits the bill. If you want a smaller Instant Pot (great for a bedroom to go to college), it’s also a 3-liter model On sale for $ 61.
We love this alternative to plastic packaging. It is made with sustainable beeswax, jojoba oil and tree resins. It’s easy to clean (despite using cold water) and lasts longer than other brands we’ve tested.
