Boxing Program for 2021: Manny Pacquiao Vs. Errol Spence Jr., Jermell Charlo vs. Brian Castano on tap

In 2021, boxing continues. After seeing many stars compete in the tough year of 2020 without competing or only once, the new year has seen some fighters with great success.

Look no further than the king of pounds, Canelo Alvarez himself. The Mexican star has already made a couple of knockouts, with Avni Yildirim easily stopped in February before another stop by Billy Joe Saunders in May. Now, Alvarez hopes to make an appointment with Caleb Plant in September to become a middleweight division champion.

In addition, Philippine legend Nonito Donaire threw back the clock and stopped Nordine Oubaali from regaining the WBC weightlifting title in May. The calendar took a bit of a hit when the heavy trilogy between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder was postponed from July 24 due to a COVID-19 appearance at Fury’s camp. The rage was positive among those, according to reports, and it’s unclear when the fight will be re-organized in the fall.

However, there are plenty of activities in the summer to impress the fans. The undisputed champion will be crowned junior middleweight Jermell Charlo when he meets Brian Castano in San Antonio, Texas, on July 17th. WBC. Now, Castano will be looking to win the WBO belt, as he has yet to prove his failure as a professional.

And Manny Pacquiao and Errol Spence Jr. the expected welterweight between the joint champions is scheduled for Aug. 21 in Las Vegas.
