In this in-depth interview, Bruce began the conversation with the story of his entry into the industry. It was an unplanned trip when Bruce decided to go to South Florida to take a franchise opportunity. The initial step in the spring of 2000 was to take over the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for The Original Big Tomato Franchise Co., Inc., an award-winning South Florida franchise.

“After opening a couple of stores in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, my attention shifted; I went to work more with franchisees to market and build their businesses. To earn some extra income on evenings and weekends, I joined as an agent in Hartford. You pay to help people, and it was here when everything in my life changed, ”says Bruce.

According to Bruce, everyone needs to find the right passion and work on it to be a successful entrepreneur, and “only fails when people give up.” On the way to creating a niche, Bruce focused on retirement and retirement planning.
