Safety Cam and Smart Plug offers
See ours guides to the best security cameras and the best smart plugs for more information and selection.
- Area Q security camera for $ 65 ($ 15 discount): When we this camera was first tried, the price was between $ 130 and $ 200. Since then it’s usually dropped about $ 80 because Arlo has released newer cameras, but we still like the Q. It’s compact and easy to use, and Arlo has a good reputation behind it.
- TP-Link Kasa Spot Camera for $ 30 ($ 5 discount): I really liked the Kasa cameras I tried, and they are pretty cheap. However, they currently do not offer two-factor authentication. You’ll probably be fine if you don’t intend to put this anywhere, you may be interested in short-term uses like being able to take sensitive footage and seeing pets when you’re not home.
- Monoprice Stitch Smart Power Strip for $ 20 ($ 5 discount): Smart electrical tapes are very useful for controlling a bunch of things at once (or individually). This monoprice is also inexpensive and is easily recognizable in the app. It has four outlets and two USB ports, but the latter two are not controlled with smart functions.
