Israeli army launches other airstrikes on Gaza list early Monday after Israeli interim Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says attacks on Palestinian enclave continue “With full force.”
The blasts shook the city of Gaza from north to south, it was heavier, in a wider area and killed at least 42 Palestinians and lasted more than a dozen airstrikes that injured dozens more on Sunday.
A Palestinian was reported injured.
Earlier, Hamas fired rockets at the Israeli cities of Ashkelon and Beershaba.
At least 192 people have been killed, including 58 children and 34 women, since the last violence began on the Gaza Strip two weeks ago.
Israel has reported 10 dead, including two children.
The United Nations Security Council met on Sunday to discuss the violence, but did not even reach a joint consensus.
China has said it is the United States that has prevented councils from speaking “with one voice”.

A Palestinian was reported injured
Al Jazeera’s Safwat al-Kahlout, from Gaza City, has reported that a Palestinian has been treated for minor injuries at al-Shifa hospital.
There were no other reports of injuries, and the Associated Press news agency said there was little information on the amount of damage caused to the Gaza Strip early Monday.
Israel has attacked “empty bases, training camps linked to Palestinian groups.”
Al Jazeera’s Safwat ak-Kahlout, reported from Gaza, said the Israeli military had targeted “empty fields, emptied and evacuated military bases and empty training camps linked to Palestinian fighting groups.”
Hamas, meanwhile, fired short-range rockets into southern Israel instead of longer armies fired a day earlier.

Israel’s Iron Dome air defense system detected these rockets, al-Kahlout said.
“It seems that the size of the Palestinian fighting group’s fire is related to the strength of the Israeli fire,” he added.
Israel’s latest airstrikes “heavier, longer”
Israel’s latest bombing in the Gaza Strip was “heavier, in a wider area and of longer duration” than the attacks that killed at least 42 Palestinians 24 hours earlier.
Fares Akram AP Gaza city correspondent said the blasts “shook the city” from north to south for 10 minutes.
Al Jazeera’s Safwat al-Kahlout, reported from Gaza, said there had been barely an “hour of peace” and that Israeli drones were “flying in the head, controlling the sky.”
