England’s women’s national team had its biggest win in history on Tuesday, beating Latvia 20-0 in a World Cup qualifier.
There were 10 different scorers and they had four caps, including Ellen White, who was the all-time leading scorer of the team and has now scored 48 goals for her country. England beat Latvia 10-0 in Riga in late October.
Matildas is late in getting her prey shared with U.S. women
England’s previous biggest win was 13-0 against Hungary in 2005.
There were other bad victories on Tuesday as Ireland beat Georgia 11-0 and the same 8-0 win over Spain beat Scotland and Austria Luxembourg.
