The 2021 U.S. Open has reached the quarterfinals at Flushing Meadows, and there have been a couple of games between both men and women on Tuesday and Wednesday. Novak Djokovic is looking for the 21st Grand Slam title to break the record and is on his way to the historic Grand Slam of the calendar year. The 20th came at Wimbledon in July, beating Matteo Berrettini, who will be his quarter-final opponent on Wednesday. Djokovic bounced back in the fourth round on Monday when he lost the first set to American Jenson Brooksby and Berrettini overtook Oscar Otte after the qualifier injured his wrist in the fourth set. This is the third straight Grand Slam match between Djokovic and Berrettini, and the Serbs are 3-0 against the Italians. The match is on Wednesday at 8:15 p.m.
Caesars Sportsbook’s latest Djokovic vs. The Berrettini odds list Djokovic as the -800 favorite (he risks $ 800 to win the $ 100), while Berrettini appears as the +500 underdog. The bottom over all games is 33.5. Before making the 2021 US Open options, make sure see the latest tennis predictions on SportsLine’s Sean Calvert.
Calvert is a famous handicapper who called Stan Wawrinka by winning the 2014 Australian Open 60-1, the last Australian title to be won by anyone other than Djokovic or Roger Federer. In 2019, Calvert stripped Dominic Thiem of a huge score by beating Indian Wells 80-1.
And earlier in 2021, he nailed two bets for the Wimbledon men’s individual final: Djokovic to win three sets for Berrettini (+275) and Djokovic to win and two players to win the set (+130). Anyone who follows his options is up there.

Top Djokovic vs. Berrettini forecasts
Djokovic’s strengths include eroding his opponents, and he did so on Monday night against 20-year-old Brooksby. After the first set fell 6-1, the Serbs made it 6-3, 6-2, 6-2 over the next three. Now, sidelined by a thigh injury at the English Club, he faces a player who appears to be rusty.
In previous meetings, Djokovic has taken advantage of Berrettini’s weak setback, and that should be the case again. Berrettini’s strength is his great serve, but Djokovic constantly keeps away even the biggest blows.
The Italian typically fills about 90 percent of the time, but has kept only 76 percent of the two games played against Djokovic this season. And in four New York games, Berrettini breaks just 20% of the time while Djokovic is at 41 percent.
