2021 WWE Fastlane predictions, matches, card, date, start time, PPV preview, location
[ad_1]
We arrived at the road to the last station WrestleMania – Curiosity that will take place over two nights in April – WWE Fastlane will be the star of Sunday night. As much as we all want to focus on the biggest show of the year, we first need to focus on the uploaded actions to get down to WWE Fastlane on Sunday night in Sunday’s ThunderDome state.
In the main event of the night, when Roman Reigns takes on Daniel Bryan, he will go on to continue as universal champion. Edge has already stated his intention to challenge for the title at WrestleMania, an opportunity he was able to make after winning the Royal Rumble. Edge could also participate in the game as a special executor if he defeats Jey Uso in Friday’s SmackDown episode. If Pigeon wins, he will claim the role, tilting the balance even further in favor of Reigns.
Fastlane descends on Sunday, March 21, from ThunderDome to St. Petersburg, Florida’s Tropicana Field. The event will begin at 6 p.m. on ET after an hour-long session that will begin at 6 p.m.
Let’s see how our experts think Fastlane will play out.
2021 WWE Fastlane predictions
United States Championship: Riddle (c) vs Mustafa Ali
The riddle is simply not losing the title right now, and especially not against Ali. Ali’s main story is the problems he had with the members of the RETRIBUTION faction who failed, as Riddle had only a representation of those failures. This match is tied to the show, when he lost the shot title on Alik Raw, with no real reason to restart. Select: The riddle retains the title – Adam Silverstein and Brent Brookhouse
Seth Rollins vs Shinsuke Nakamura
Although Rollins intended to fight Cesaro at WrestleMania, although that match has not yet been announced, it would not make sense to lose here against Nakamura. Maybe there could be a scenario where Cesaro hinders and forces a disqualification, but if he gets a clean finish, it’s Rollins who needs his profile after losing a month’s action while on paternity leave. Selection: Seth Rollins wins – Silverstein & Brookhouse
Alexa Bliss Vs. Randy Orton
WWE is not going anywhere to make Bliss and Orton a “real match”. This is surely just an elaborate setup for The Fiend for a dramatic comeback, setting up the Orton vs Fiend match for WrestleMania. That being the case, there is no winner to choose from here, as it is unlikely that the match will have a real finish. – Brookhouse and Silverstein
Braun Strowman vs. Shane McMahon
My hope is that this match was put on Fastlane instead of WrestleMania, as WWE realized that fans weren’t interested in watching it two weeks ago after a huge segment. However, it seems likely that ‘Mania will be the prelude to the match, further consolidating the story. Therefore, even if we don’t know exactly how that will happen, hopes should be a disqualification or McMahon should find a way to overcome Strowman and get the win. Selection: Shane McMahon wins – Silverstein & Brookhouse
Intercontinental Championship: Big E (c) vs. Apollo Crews
The result is a lonely card game that is really up in the air. In theory, the Crews have often lost against the Big E to take on another L here, especially considering their mixed character and the big push they are getting going. However, Big Ek has been a champion for less than three months, and there is no good reason not to go ahead with the main event scheduled to remove the title ahead of the biggest event of the year. Returning to the title Crews and returning to the Big E three weeks later at WrestleMania seems like a futile effort to us, so let’s go with the chalk here. Select: Retains the large E title – Silverstein
It feels a little early to remove the Big E belt, but the transformation of the Crews seems to require victory. He lost again and again before taking the full step of being a heel, so if a complete overhaul doesn’t lead to victory, how effective has the move been? With two nights left to fill WrestleMania, it would be fairly easy to put a belt on the Crews before returning to the Big E in April, establishing that the Crews ’character is a significant change. Selection: Apollo Crews wins the title – Brookhouse
Women’s Tag Team Championship: Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair
WWE too often takes on women’s individual champions in the title image of the tag team, and here we are again with two useless WrestleMania wrestling teams, but we’re doing it for the second month in a row. There is no reason to change the titles here and the loss of the tag team as a starting feud between Banks and Belair is as necessary as the match that takes place as soon as possible. There are many other teams at WrestleMania that should go after the titles and there is no reason to book the champion. Select: Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler retain titles – Brookhouse and Silverstein
Drew McIntyre Vs. Sheamus (No Attachments)
Losing McIntyre here makes no sense. Sheamus is on one of the best tracks of his career in terms of ring performances and should be in the WWE title image, but McIntyre is already established as a challenger for Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania. This means that he should not take any losses here. The match could have ended without another competition, forcing a Sheamus vs McIntyre match on the first night of WreamleMania with what the winner would get on Lashley on two nights – it’s just a theory. If anyone raises their hand in Fastlan, it’s McIntyre. Selection: Drew McInty wins – Brookhouse and Silverstein
World Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Daniel Bryan
Even if WWE decides to add the WrestleMania match between Bryan Reigns and Edge, it would be surprising if they could choose to remove the title of a major heel champion who will reach the biggest event of the year. If Edge or Bryan removes the title from Reigns, it will be performed in front of a live crowd to create a “WrestleMania Moment”. The action should be hot and Bryan seems to be on the verge of winning the belt, but between Reigns ’camp and a special enforcer (Edge or Dove), there are enough ways for Bryan to end up taking the loss. Select: Roman Reigns retains the title – Brookhouse and Silverstein
