Shortly after winning the men’s Royal Rumble in January, Edge announced that he would be challenging for the universal championship at WrestleMania 37. Fastlane’s main event serves as a special game executive as the “Ultimate Opportunist”.
This year’s Fastlane is not only the last pay-per-view event before WrestleMania, it also represents the beginning of a new era in WWE with a show airing on Peacock. This concludes that the long duration of WWE payment events is only available on the original WWE Network platform.
Fastlane 2021 will be presented live on Sunday night from the WWE ThunderDome inside St. Petersburg (Florida) Tropicana Field. It will begin at 7pm ET with an opening performance at 6pm an hour earlier
