The return of Hell in a Cell goes down this Sunday. WWE will bring a demonic structure to the event to see the final payment made from ThunderDome, with a live tour ahead of the July Money in the Bank event.

Hell in a Cell marks the true beginning of the transition to the SummerSlam season, as two major brand champions have entered to defend the Cellera title. WWE champion Bobby Lashley will face Drew McIntyre for the last time as McIntyre has blocked future shots of Lashley’s title if he loses inside Cell. On the SmackDown side, Roman Reigns will defend his universal tournament against Rey Mysterio, who is seeking revenge, after Reigns attacked Rey’s savage Dominic the savage.

Hell in a Cell will begin at 7pm on ET on Sunday, June 20, and the opening performance one hour before the main ticket will be broadcast live at 6pm at Peacock, both the opening session and the main card. CBS Sports will be with you on Sunday with live results, highlights and analysis.

WWE Tournament: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre (Hell in a Cell)

This is McIntyre’s last chance with the Lashley title, or at least that’s the provision at stake. The construction has been bizarre, as it has been a great injustice as McInty has suffered a slight distraction from the MVP at WrestleMania. It looks like McIntyre’s final shot will indicate that he will walk away as a champion, but without a live crowd it feels wrong to win another title. It’s time to get through this match and Lashley needs to make the final run for a terrific SummerSlam match. Selection: Bobby Lashley retains the title

Women’s SmackDown Tournament: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley

Bayley is a good opponent for Belair to work with, but the program feels like WrestleManian has won an emotional title and then stopped Belair a bit. That is, the place where Belair needs to remove Bayley before he can go to the next opponent. It will probably be one more month for the champion to start construction on SummerSlam, hopefully with an opponent who feels as big and special as when Belair threw Sasha Banks. Women’s Gross Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair

As a matter of course, there is no reason to remove the title from the champion in this place. Right now it should be live touring and preparing for the return to SummerSlam. Winning the Flair title here would show a lack of confidence in Ripley and I don’t think he is where the WWE is. Ripley needs a win here to gain credibility du the woman on Raw, and she should get that on Sunday. Selection: Rhea Ripley retains the title

World Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Rey Mysterio (Hell in a cell)

There’s probably a zero percent chance that anyone in the WWE will have a serious consideration for putting the title on Mysterio here. We’ve all heard rumors of what’s coming to Reigns in August, and those plans aren’t going to unravel here with the title change, nor would they be reversed on the next SmackDown. Reigns will prevail again and the drama with Usos will have an impact in one way or another. Select: Roman Reigns retains the title

Alexa Bliss vs Shayna Baszler

The catastrophe of a story goes on when the Baszler Bliss dolls panic and then Nia Jax will accept the match with Bliss on behalf of her partner. This is going to be “scary” and Bliss will create some things in his eyes before he gets the win because WWE is immersed in madness at the moment. Selection: Alexa Bliss wins
