Jessica Pegula may not be in New York, but she is a 27-year-old tennis player and daughter Buffalo Bills Owners Terry Pegula and Kim Pegula are still showing their support for the team.
After a 7-6 (3), 6-2 win over Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz at the Australian Open on Thursday, Jessica Pegula wrote “Bills you’re next” on the court camera.
With the win, he advanced to the fourth round of the Grand Slam and meanwhile the Bills are expected to advance to the AFC Championship by winning on Sunday.
Before the Buffalo conference tournament is over, however, they have to face No. 2 Kansas City Chiefs Arrowhead Stadium at the AFC Divisional Round. The two teams met at the AFC Championships last season, and were promoted to the Chiefs Super Bowl.
The Bills come from the main win New England Patriots, While the chiefs have just taken out a crush Pittsburgh Steelers. Buffalo has not played in the Super Bowl since 1994, which ended his four-year stint in the big game (although he lost each time).
Next to Jessica Pegula is Maria Sakkari, who beat Veronika Kudermetova 6-4, 6-1.
