Sunscreen is the most important step in your daily routine.
Actually, I wasn’t always dedicated to sunscreen. It got into my eyes and burned me. My skin exploded with angry stains or itchy red spots. He left the greasy film that lasted all day. But since then I’ve changed my tone (and thankfully so have the sunscreen formulas).
Sunscreens fall into two categories: 1) chemicals, which contain compounds that convert UV rays into heat and then release them, and 2) minerals, with ingredients that physically block and deflect the rays. The sunscreen absorbs the skin, while the minerals remain on the surface of the skin. Although both provide effective protection, sunscreens are believed to be better for sensitive skin, including rosacea, as they help keep skin fresh.

I never thought I would say I actively love sunscreen, but yes.
Good for assets: Badger Active Sunscreen SPF 30
Straight out of the tube, it reminds me of kindergarten pasta – white, sticky, thick. But once rubbed, it immediately pays off. The odorless cream stays clear without irritation. There is a lot to love about this water-resistant formula, which is 98% organic and free of odors, dyes, parabens, petrolatum, GMOs and synthetics. Although I find it too greasy for everyday wear, I love hiking, sports and beach days. Bonus: Compared to other formulas, the tube has almost double the product and is very good for the face and body.
Good for round-trip touches: Colorful Sun Protection SPF 30
Many friends swear by this brand of sunscreen powder, which is light, dry and easy to remove dust anywhere. If I prefer to start the day with my liquid (to make sure I’m properly covered), when it comes to traveling or touching, I can’t get over that. It’s easy to store in a bag, and I really like that it allows you to reapply the inserted brushes without worrying about germinated fingers or a greasy midday face. You can touch some hair to keep the sun from reaching your place.
Good for sensitive skin: Avène Sun Care UV Mineral Multiple Defense SPF 50
This basic French pharmaceutical product formulated for sensitive skin has the look and feel of a range of sunscreens. It goes white and sticky, reminiscent of childhood beach days. But the stickiness evaporates after a few minutes, leaving an odorless coat of arms invisible, as well as water-resistant for up to 40 minutes. Designed to soothe and soothe sensitive skin, it’s a great bet for anyone looking for true sunscreen.
Good coloring: ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40
I’m a fan of anything that makes my mornings easier, and this product – combining skin, makeup and SPF – couldn’t be easier. The liquid formula is slightly thicker than traditional dyed serums and requires some coaxing to blend into the skin. For me, it takes a few minutes to fix the product, but once it does, I really like what it looks and feels like. It adds instant smoothing on days without makeup or is a great base along with a concealer when I want more coverage. And there you have it! When it comes to wear, I like to apply the usual morning moisturizer, give it a minute to sink while I’m wearing it, and then put it on top of the sunscreen. Every time I play with sunscreen, I end the day with a double wash to make sure I get rid of everything before I go to bed.
