In 2021, boxing continues. After seeing many stars compete in the tough year of 2020 without competing or only once, the new year has seen some fighters with great success.

Look no further than the King of Pounds himself, Canelo Alvarez. The Mexican star has already made a couple of knockouts, with Avni Yildirim easily stopped in February before another stop by Billy Joe Saunders in May. Now, Alvarez hopes to make an appointment with Caleb Plant in September to become a middleweight division champion.

In addition, Philippine legend Nonito Donaire threw back the clock and stopped Nordine Oubaali from regaining the WBC weightlifting title in May. Donair broke the record for the old man who won a major tournament at the age of 38. Retired legendary champion Floyd Mayweather went a long way with social media star Logan Paul in June.

Now, almost every weekend we load up on a June full of struggles. Some of the biggest names in the action are Shakur Stevenson, Teofimo Lopez Jr., Jermall Charlo, Naoya Inoue, Gervonta Davis and Vasiliy Lomachenko.

Also in July, the trilogy between heavyweights Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder begins in Las Vegas. They both fought in the first meeting before Fury knocked Wilder out of his WBC tournament with a tremendous TKO. Now, the two will reunite when an arbitrator ruled that Wilder’s restart clause was still in effect. The winner will hopefully face Anthony Joshua with a joint title in 2021.

Below is a list of the top 2021 boxing events.
