Best MacBooks (2021): M1 Vs. Intel. Which model should you buy?

Apple still sells the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Intel’s 10th-generation processor, but the M1 outperforms the MacBook Pro. The only benefit of the Intel version is that it comes with four USB-C ports, but considering the price jump it doesn’t make sense to buy it. Better to invest in the M1 model with 16 GB of RAM multiport adapter to add more connectivity (or wait a year or so, when Apple will inevitably replace the four-port version with an even more powerful Pro).

Apple MacBook Pro (16 inches, 2019)

For Big Screen Fans

Right now the only people who should buy a 16-inch MacBook Pro (9/10, recommended by WIRED) They’re big users who need a graphically powerful Mac, with the best laptop speakers, built-in podcast-level microphones, four-port USB-C ports, and a much wider, sharper 16-inch screen.

The ninth-generation Intel Core i7 processor (which can be upgraded to the Core i9 version) is no slouch. Note that the M1 MacBook Pro exceeds the 16-inch area in many areas. However, the AMD graphics card on this machine will give you a big boost even if you’re gaming or editing videos, it’s very loud, and the sharp battery quickly runs out when performing intensive tasks (it won’t last 13 inches for the MacBook Pro). The base model has a 512 GB SSD. Video editors will be happy to know that you can get up to 64 GB of RAM.

The biggest disadvantages are size, price and weight. If you need a laptop you can carry it anywhere without much hindrance, look elsewhere. But if you need the most powerful MacBook, this is it.

Apple will support this Intel-powered MacBook for years to come, and you won’t have to worry about potential application issues, but I highly recommend waiting until the end of 2021 if you need an overloaded model. Apple will likely release a 16-inch MacBook Pro series that will jump ahead of this performance. By then most developers will probably be optimizing their apps for the new Apple processor as well.

Apple iMacBook (2021)

For table lovers
