Boxing schedule for 2021: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder 3, Jermell Charlo vs. Brian Castano in the playoffs

In 2021, boxing continues. After seeing many stars compete in the tough year of 2020 without competing or only once, the new year has seen some fighters with great success.

Look no further than the King of Pounds himself, Canelo Alvarez. The Mexican star has already made a couple of knockouts, with Avni Yildirim easily stopped in February before another stop by Billy Joe Saunders in May. Now, Alvarez hopes to make an appointment with Caleb Plant in September to become a middleweight division champion.

Now we’re heading to July, where the long trilogy between heavyweights Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder begins in Las Vegas. They both fought in the first meeting before Fury knocked Wilder out of his WBC tournament with a tremendous TKO. Now, the two will meet as an arbitrator decided that Wilder’s restart clause was still in effect. The winner will hopefully face Anthony Joshua with a joint title in 2021.

In addition, the undisputed junior middleweight champion will be crowned Jermell Charlo with Brian Casntano when he meets in San Antonio, Texas on July 17th. Charlo achieved joint status last time with Jeison Rosario’s tremendous TKO to win the WBA and IBF titles. with his WBC. Now, Castano will be looking to win the WBO belt, as he has yet to prove his failure as a professional.

And in August, the return of Manny Pacquiao’s hopes is arguably when Errol Spence makes the biggest test available to a joint welterweight champion. Pacquiao has been on the sidelines since Keith Thurman won a sensational decision in 2019 and now wants to make it almost unthinkable at the age of 42 by winning 147-pound joint titles.
