Eight people, including four Chinese nationals, have been killed in an explosion targeting a bus in northern Pakistan, multiple sources told Reuters news agency.
“There is a big explosion on the bus carrying Chinese engineers … during the Kohistan era. Eight people lost their lives,” a senior official in the Hazara region’s administration told Reuters on Wednesday.
He said the bus was carrying more than 30 Chinese engineers to the site of the Dasu Dam in Kohistan.
Along with the engineers, two paramilitary security men were also killed, he said.
