City Hall Wedding in San Francisco (with Shoes and Walks!) – Wired PR Lifestyle Story

The town hall wedding has always been perfect Angela and Ryan. “In San Francisco, magical moments happen every day among strangers,” he told me. “It’s a way to bring people together with the Chinese champions in the wake of the escalation of violence against Asia. “We agreed to cook at home because we felt most comfortable there and wanted to spend the morning with our cat, Clancy. I got dressed in our bedroom, and Ryan put on his suit in the guest bedroom. We took our ‘first look’ out of the bedrooms and saw each other in our hallway. He was humble, without any pretensions. ‘

“Ryan and I organized our wedding in a time of hatred and violence against Asia in early 2021. It was a fear, especially as a Taiwanese immigrant living in the Bay Area. One way to highlight the beauty of my community was to put my wallet in place and support Asian creativity. I decided to plan our wedding. “

“My wedding look started with a pearl bag Simone Rocha, Born in Ireland and with Chinese heritage. It was my dress Self-portrait, A trademark owned by a Malaysian-British designer. “Our event lasted five minutes, and we were married to a retired judge, which was very sweet. We were the last couple to get married that day, so after our ceremony, he let us take our time taking pictures and soaking everything up. ”

“Then we cut our cake outside the town hall with 20 people and relatives. We chose a small cake for both of us, made by a Taiwanese American named Elizabeth Chin. Meraki with all my heart. And we served cupcakes to our guests. ”

“Then Ryan and I went to the vans and to the summit of Twin Peaks, where we shared our private vows. We chose that place because we spent our first date talking all night and then watching the sun go down.”

“We ended up celebrating at one of our favorite Japanese restaurants, Family Cafe On the north beach. We had a happy hour outside with friends and family, followed by a Japanese / Californian dinner.

“I didn’t think I would have so much fun with such a small wedding, but yes. I felt very present, and everything seemed true to us, that’s what we wanted. “
