People were beating More than 1,500 attendees sealed and sang “We Won’t Take It!” For the God & Country Patriot Roundup, which began in late May with a conference on unity and love related to QAnon in Dallas, the aforementioned speakers or the second complete uprising spoke in a video of “INSURRECTION to RESURRECTION” and “THE ONLY WAY IS MILITARY” and a suggestion by General Michael Flynn bad The Myanmar-style coup should have taken place in the United States.
Although many questioned how QA would survive without an anonymous “leader” Q, the event marked a new phase in the theory of online conspiracy while people become actions and events. Similar to other efforts to overthrow the 2020 election, based on false allegations of voter fraud — including the recent ones of former President Trump. Ohio Rally and continued support for the Maricopa County audit — Patriot Roundup brought a new sense of urgency and motivation that speakers wanted to focus on local political action. And while QAnon is making an effort to hire online, the movement has found new communities, including evangelical Christians.
Throughout the weekend, speakers called for local political engagement and pre-emptive meetings, especially school boards, child protection services, and going to a local office. For example, when asked about the upcoming “military tribunals” and the cancellation of elections “Kraken, ”A former Trump lawyer and QAnon Defender Sidney Powell stressed that the only plan is to get involved in local politics. “No, there is no military tribunal in operation,” he said. “No one will magically solve this problem for us.” The attendees then “encouraged you to participate in your district, in your school districts, in all parts of your life to reclaim this country.” While QAnon supporters were politically engaged in the past they have gone to the local office the conference marked a formalized coordinated effort.
The impetus for local activities and offline events is a response to the dissolution of QAnon with Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and Youtube. Throughout the weekend, the speakers turned into a key narrative of oppression. Citing the contempt of QAnon’s supporters immediately after Jan. 6, a “Kate Awakening” speaker called him a “Purge” and “said it was almost like a scene.” Titanic“.
“Joining us was the next inevitable step,” said Brad Getz, a content creator at QAnon and another speaker. “They can censor us. You know then we’re going to take it on the road.”
Others made extreme and inaccurate comparisons with goulash. “They don’t need gulags, gas chambers and killing grounds, because the current technology allows them to write a line of code,” said speaker Evan Sayet. “This Jew has been ghettoized electronically. They removed my voice from the Facebook community. They removed my voice from the Twitter community. I’m in Zuckerberg’s gulag, because even though it doesn’t look the same and the method isn’t the same, the result, the goal, is the same. “
Flynn, the keynote speaker, compared the disagreement to a military conflict: “We have been taken from the titans of social media technology on the left and right … Right now we are fighting for an information beach.”
Speakers and attendees also continued to talk about tackling election fraud and mythologized the January 6 Capitol attack. Many referred to the “audit” of Maricopa County, which the voting parties consider to be very partisan, and Chairman of the Maricopa County Supervisory Board. Many in attendance believed that it would create a chain reaction from other similar auditors states which would ultimately overturn the verified and certified results of the 2020 election. Promoted Maricopa style audits Robin Vos Wisconsinen, Steve Carra Michigan, and Dave Argall Pennsylvania, among others, are willing to continue to nurture this narrative and the violence associated with it.
Many attendees and speakers shared their stories of being on the Capitol on January 6 with pride, nostalgia, and joy.
“We know the media, your friends, your family want to embarrass you and tell you that you did something wrong … I myself wear January 6 as a badge of honor,” he said. Couy Griffin, A new Mexican county official who is being investigated for violating the Capitol. Recalling the QAnon slogan, Griffin said, “Let’s go together …” and the audience shouted again, “We’re all going!”
