Saturday’s heavyweight clash between Joseph Parker and Dereck Chisora is in danger of falling apart at the last minute after a discussion about the ring’s trajectory. It started after the two men gained weight for the planned team in Manchester (England).

Chisora came out of a conversation, saying that there was a debate about walking orders and that he would not fight unless he walked second. Parker’s camp tried to solve the problem with a coin, and Chisora initially refused.

The coin flip happened in the end and Parker won, taking Chisora by storm. The Chisora team began packing the fighter’s belongings, once again making it clear that the fight would not happen if their fighter had to walk to the ring in the second.

“I really can’t have a fight going on if I tell Dereck first,” Chisora manager and heavyweight champion David Haye told Sky Sports. “I know that doesn’t make sense. He agreed and signed the contract and he would break the integrity. He’s that guy. It doesn’t matter. Unfortunately, that’s the way it is.”

In a video interview with Haye Published by IFL TV, Chisora’s group can be seen in the back as the boxes come out of the building telling Haye not to move the items outside and put them in his room.

In a follow-up video, Hay spoke to Chisora’s friend Tony Bellew about the former cruise weight champion.

“I know Dereck, and if Dereck says he won’t walk, I don’t care,” Bellew said. “Unless you get a lifting crane, it won’t work.”
