“We are happy because he can take us and he has not had much of an impact in terms of preparation. He has led an important meeting this morning and is still guiding us. Van Gaal is still eager to get into the World Cup.”

Van Gaal said he would be on the bench on Tuesday and hoped the Dutch would win the match and secure first place in their group.
