Samsung’s two-fold price has dropped significantly, with Fold3 at $ 1,799 and Flip3 at $ 1,000. If you pre-order Fold3, you will get $ 200 in Samsung Credit Samsung.com, and $ 150 if you remove Flip3.
Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic
Samsung is moving in a new direction with its smart watches. Instead of relying on a bespoke Tizen operating system and asking developers to create versions of apps that only run on Samsung devices, Google takes it Wear OS operating system. The company developed the software in conjunction with Fitbit Owned by Google author of dress. This means that Samsung watch enthusiasts are gaining access to more useful applications such as Google Maps. Given Samsung’s popularity of smart watches, the move could push more developers to build apps for Wear OS, something that Google has always fought for.
The new Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic have user interfaces that look and feel like previous Samsung smartwatches, but there are a lot of changes under the hood and there are some subtle changes that make it easier to use. For example, you can access recently opened applications by pressing the button next to the clock. Both watches are equipped with a 5-nanometer Samsung processor and feature high-resolution displays, 16 saved deposits, a 40-hour battery life and a fast wireless charge.
More importantly, Samsung’s BioActive smartwatch sensor has been redesigned to be closer to the skin, thereby improving the watch’s health monitoring capabilities. The sensor can measure electrocardiograms, blood pressure and VO2 Max readings, but it is faster to detect workouts automatically. It also provides more accurate calorie counts, and now includes bioelectrical impedance analysis. This allows you to see body composition data such as skeletal muscle, body fat and fat mass.
Samsung says tracking sleep on the clocks has also improved. The clocks work with Samsung’s Galaxy phones to detect snoring (you use your phone’s microphones to pick up the sound you saw on the record) when you collect blood oxygen data through the clock sensor to perform a more accurate sleep analysis every minute.
The base Galaxy Watch4 replaces Samsung’s previous active line. The new watch does not have a mechanical bezel, but a digital one. (You can slide your finger from the edge of the screen to move through the interface.) I think it looks better than the classic and comes at a huge price: it starts at version 250 for the Bluetooth version, but adding LTE connectivity costs $ 50 more. It measures 40 or 44 mm.
