Exclusive-JPMorgan tells unintegrated Manhattan employees to work from home

NEW YORK (Reuters) – JPMorgan Chase & Co. on Wednesday ordered Manhattan’s unvaccinated workers to work from home, a sign that banks and other financial companies are tightening their protocols as a result of the Omicron coronavirus variant.
The U.S. bank, which is one of the most aggressive to return employees to its office, allowed previously unintegrated workers to work in Manhattan offices if they were tested twice a week.
In a statement to staff seen by Reuters, the bank urged unvaccinated workers to be vaccinated and to receive booster shots from those vaccinated. He also relaxed the mask requirements for vaccinated staff working in Manhattan offices.
“We agree with the health authorities that getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is the best way to keep ourselves and our loved ones safe, especially when we are facing the winter months and a new variant, so consider getting vaccinated if you are not already getting your booster. then, “he said.
