Ryan Fischer was shot in the chest while the singing dog was walking in Los Angeles two months ago.
The woman who returned Lady Gaga’s robbery French bulldogs five people were charged Thursday with attempted murder and robbery in connection with the music superstar dog robbery and shooting.
Detectives do not believe the thieves knew the dogs were pop stars, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement. Investigators believe the reason for the Feb. 24 robbery was the value of a French bulldog, which could be in the thousands of dollars.
Walking dog Ryan Fischer is recovering from a gunshot wound and has called the violence on social media posts “violence with very death”. Lady Gaga’s three dogs — Asia, Koji, and Gustav — were walking along Hollywood’s famous Sunset Boulevard when she was attacked.
“It was a heinous street crime that left a man seriously injured,” district attorney George Gascón said in a statement. “We have filed very serious charges in this case and we believe that justice will be properly served while this case is developed in court.”
In the video of the bell camera of a nearby house, a white sedan is pulled and two men are seen jumping. They fought with Fischer and one of them pulled out a gun and fired a single shot before fleeing, along with the two dogs, Koji and Gustav.
The video picked up Fischer’s screams, “Oh, my God! They shot me! ”And“ Help me! ” and “I’m bleeding from the chest!”
Lady Gaga offered a $ 500,000 prize – “without question” – for reuniting with the dogs. The singer was in Rome shooting a film at the time.
Koji and Gustav took my beloved dog to Hollywood two nights ago. My heart is sick and I pray with an act of kindness to keep my family whole again. I will pay $ 500,000 in a secure refund. Send an email to KojiandGustav@gmail.com to contact us. pic.twitter.com/3NY9u7Mw2K

Two days later the dogs were returned to an LAPD station, where a woman who allegedly was “not involved and associated” with the crime, police initially said. It was not immediately clear whether the woman, who was 50 years old on Thursday, Jennifer McBride, received the award.
The LAPD said Thursday it was in a relationship with the father of one of the suspects.
Police arrested James Jackson when he was 18; Jaylin Whitek, 19; and Lafayette Whaley, 27, linked to the violence. They are charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to rob and second-degree robbery, according to a Los Angeles County District Attorney.
Jackson, who authorities said was a gunman, also filed a complaint of assault with a semi-automatic firearm and a criminal carrying a concealed weapon. Whites face a number of attacks with a force that can cause major injuries to the body.
White’s father, 40-year-old Harold White, and McBride were arrested and charged with possession of assault accessories. Old White was accused of possessing a firearm and McBrid was accused of picking up stolen goods.
According to the LAPD, Jackson, Whaley and Whites are documented gang members.
The five suspects were indicted Thursday by Los Angeles County District Attorney. It was not immediately clear if they had a lawyer who could speak on their behalf.
All five were arrested on $ 1 million bail, according to online prison records.
Lady Gaga did not immediately respond to the arrests on social media accounts on Thursday evening. Representatives of Fischer and Lady Gaga did not respond to requests for comment.
