Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul boxing match in June set in Miami at Showtime PPV

A boxing show between Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul, originally scheduled to be postponed until Feb. 20, is scheduled for June 6 from the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Rock, Florida. Mayweather Promotions and Showtime Boxing both tweeted confirmation of the event, which will air on the Showtime pay-per-view program.

After announcing the fight early, little was said about the event before it was delayed earlier in the year. At the time the decision was made, Paul has posted a video on his YouTube account, citing the impact of COVID-19 assistance as the cause of the delay.

“The fight is still going on,” Paul said. “We want to have a full area somewhere and then the business side, we have to iron it out. He has a lot of people on his team, Al Haymon participated, if you know boxing, you know what it means to make a real deal and determine the place. Practice, training, I need them as much as I can to fight this guy. I’m getting better and better with the days of the past and he’s getting older. ”

On Tuesday night, it was confirmed that the fight had started again.

Mayweather, the greatest boxer of his generation, last entered a boxing ring in December 2018 against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa. Mayweather did a quick job for Nasukawa, finishing the fight on the first lap.

Paul took his name as a Disney Channel star before the discussions led to the network cutting links. Paul became a bigger star, using social media to increase his profile and generate a lot of discussion. Although Paul’s younger brother, Jake, has proven to be a tremendous equalizer in his young boxing career, going 3-0 in major events against opponents outside the boxing world, Logan has only once fought as a professional, losing the decision to the social media star KSI in November 2019.

Mayweather will be 20, six inches and nearly 50 pounds against Paul, but is likely to enter the ring as a massive favorite.
