Japan’s crude steel production rose 30.1% year-on-year from July to September -METI Reuters

TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan’s crude steel production is projected to rise 30.1% in the July-September quarter to a year earlier and reach 24.69 million tonnes, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) said on Tuesday.
Demand for steel products, including exports, is expected to increase by 17.0% from July to September to 21.75 million tonnes a year earlier, the ministry said, citing an industrial survey.
The ministry expects exports to rise by 26.7%.
