Chad Johnson completed an 11-year career in the NFL, being one of the most widely used receivers in the game. On Sunday, Johnson took on a completely different challenge as he struggled in a boxing ring.

Johnson opened it Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul PPV event MMA and Brian Maxwell in a four-round exhibition against Bare Knuckle FC fighter. As a result of the wrestling exhibition, no official scoring card was kept and there were no winners or losers. Johnson had a few blows during the fight, but was standing when the fourth round ended.

“I had a great time. I had two months to prepare for it. I want to thank God for keeping me safe,” Johnson said after the fight.

Johnson was definitely out of his comfort zone when he got inside a boxing ring. Although he looked like a former veteran, it was certainly a bold attempt. He also went to social media after his fight to express his excitement.

“Holy shit was fun against a real toy and I survived.” Johnson tweeted.

Johnson received a lot of praise from several athletes in the ring. Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, UFC welterweight fighter Jorge Masvidal and many others congratulated Johnson on his boxing debut.
