(Reuters) – British billionaire Richard Branson has bought a stake in the Seraphim Space Investment Trust space technology fund as part of an initial public offering of £ 178 million ($ 246.99 million), London-based Seraphim said on Monday.

Airbus SE (OTC 🙂 also traded in the IPO and was one of the other parties to buy the company’s shares, according to an email from Seraphim, which will begin trading on the London Stock Exchange this week.

The exact amount of these bets was not given by Seraphim. Bloomberg reported on Monday that Branson had bought shares of Seraphim in London in a sale that closed on Friday.
