Morgan Stanley employees and customers who have not received the Covid-19 vaccine will be barred from entering the bank’s New York offices, according to an internal note seen by the Financial Times.
“From July 12, all employees, contingent staff, customers and visitors will be required to be fully vaccinated to access the Morgan Stanley buildings in New York and Westchester,” the statement said, signed by Mandell Crawley’s main human resources office.
After that date, those who do not verify that it is completely inoculated will lose access to the buildings.
The bank has already established “vaccine-only” areas to work on some lines of business, including institutional values and wealth management.
Morgan Stanley did not immediately respond to the request for comment.
This is a developing story. More to follow
