A few years ago, my friend Liz he invited some ladies to his apartment, and I will never forget what happened …
After eating sweet cheese and crispy baguette in his living room, he took us to the dining room table. There was a small piece of paper on each person’s plate. As we looked closer, we realized that he had written acrostic poetry for each of us. Although it might look like cheese or baby, let me tell you: it was very beautiful.
Here is what I said:
Jhis foot
Open book
Awe will be welcome
Npretense,
Naturalean
AHe will take care of you
How nice is that ?! I was really excited. After I got home, I recorded it in our kitchen, where it has been for the past five years. Every time I see it, I feel a wave of love for it and so I am grateful to see it that way.
Aren’t acrostic poems a wonderful – and easy – idea? Would you do that for your guests? I loved it so much.
