Nico Ali Walsh, grandson of Muhammad Ali, wins first round in professional boxing debut

Wearing the trunks of the legendary grandfather, Nico Ali Walsh did not disappoint in his professional debut. Ali Walsh, the grandson of the great Muhammad Ali of all boxing, stopped Jordan Weeks in less than two minutes in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Ali Walsh didn’t need much time to exploit the holes to defend the Week. Ali Walsh used a simple attack and a straight right hand to lead to victory, throwing two strikes in a two-combination at the start of the opening round of the four-round competition to kick off the Week.

After weeks of shaking, Ali Walsh fired several shots, several of which landed before the referee forced the referee to jump and give the stop a 1:49 mark on the 1st stop, shocking the Tulsa crowd. Ali Walsh’s stepfather, the legendary hip hop artist Flavor Flav.

“This fully met my expectations,” Ali Walsh said after the victory. “This is something I only dreamed of. It’s been an emotional journey over this walk, these last two months … Of course, Grandpa, I’ve been thinking about it so much. I’m missing it and it’s just an emotional journey.”
