Philadelphia police shot and killed a black man as he was walking down the street Monday afternoon. Police said the man was carrying a knife.

Wallace said she left nine children, Johnson said, including her eldest son, Zamir, who spoke to reporters Tuesday night.
“We always go to places and we always walk around playing,” he said. “And the white racist police got my dad. And black life still matters.”
