There is no room for such a tournament, however, in the already completed Future Tours Program. Moreover, India has not played in three-nation and four-nation championships a decade ago. The two neighboring countries have not played against each other since the ICC Championships or the Asian Cup in 2013.
The last bilateral series between India and Pakistan was held in 2012-13, when India took Pakistan for the T20 rubber.
Recently, the two teams played against each other at the ICC T20 World Cup in the Basque Country last year, at a ICC event that Pakistan won for the first time in India.
