According to Pirooz, people are eager to travel, which is why he sees the lime-washed finish and tone walls hidden. Its customers are also moving away from the bright white walls and moving to warmer terracotta, sage green and marigold shades. He has also noticed the ownership of the new cake with many of his recent projects. Her favorites combine pistachio and red roses, and they will live on for a while until 2022!

Before the pandemic was very light in white and white tones, Nusser warned that many people are seeing it use more color and make bold statements in their space. After spending so much time in their spaces over the last year, people think they want to brighten things up and add brightness, mood and fun to their homes.

Gentry noted, “We’ve been blocked and scared for a while, and now people want to feel joy. That’s why the maximalist trend is gaining strength.”

Earth tones, quirky tones and creamy, rich textures will dominate until 2022. As Dotolo mentioned, “people want great design in their homes, looks that make them happy and have a bigger celebration. ”

Goodbye white and gray!

Our four design experts have mentioned that shades of gray paint no longer have a style, which is pretty definitive if you ask! Gentry explained that “we will leave fresh grays aside and replace them with more creamy neutrals.” Think of shades of yellow and pink instead of blue and green.

Doloto has noticed that creamy and warm whites have taken precedence over sharp whites and believes that people are responding to how they feel today and what they want in their home. Yes, we will always need some white walls to connect the house, but blinding white walls will no longer be an option for the entire house. It’s also a matter of giving the bright whites a touch of softness.

The colors are warmer, even in terms of neutral tones. Doloto noted that for most, the house is about the comfort and warmth that makes you feel rested from the world.
