Sports investment banks are seeing a lot of changes due to the current state of leagues around the world. In this section, Adam Torres and Andrew Kline, The founder and managing director of Park Lane, looked at some of the challenges and opportunities many groups face today.

About Andrew Kline

Kline brings extensive experience in the field of professional sports experience, investment banking experience and industry knowledge to Park Laner. Kline has provided advice on M&A transactions in all major sports, and has been instrumental in securing funding for many start-up sports-based businesses.

Kline is a member of the Stanford Executive Circle, the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), the Association of Corporate Growth, the NFLPA and the NFL Retired Players Association. In 2013, at the age of 36, Kline was named on The M&A Advisor’s 40 Under 40 list. He was also named in the 2016 list of powerful players in the Kline SportsBusiness Journal in the Advisory category.

Before Park Lane was created, St. Louis Rams was chosen by NFL World Champion Kline, in whose center and guard played quickly. After retiring from the NFL, Kline became an active investor in the real estate markets of San Diego and Arizona and brought great returns to his fund investors. Kline also co-founded The Australian Surf Academy (sold to Surf Diva in 2004) and The Athletes Agency (sold 49% in 2005). Kline Rudy Giuliani was also the president of the coalition athletes in the Giuliani presidential candidacy. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Navy SEAL Family Foundation and is very active in fundraising for Special Forces and Special Operations Forces.

Kline attended San Diego State University, where she graduated with a degree in Psychology, and a degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Kline has FINRA Series 7 and 63 records.
