Dyson has many sub-models because his naming scheme is not confusing enough. Each has tool attachments and accessories. All models (V7, V8, V10, V11, etc.) seem to present new sub-models, so the list continues to grow, and then there are discontinued sub-models that appear on old stock websites, usually for sale.
Absolutely it is usually the version of the mountain king with the most attachments. We can’t list them all because they vary depending on the parent pattern, but several brush nozzles, slot attachments, and motorized roller heads are expected to remove hard floors and deep congestion mats.
Campaign V11s have a 25% higher head on each passage to clean more floor area and a dustbin 150 percent larger than non-external V11s.
Allergy it came with a revamped filter that captures 99.99 percent of bacteria and dust, as it expelled cleaner air than conventional models, but after the V7 all Dyson stick vacs began to include refurbished filters. It is largely a heritage designation now, and has not been used in new models.
Motorhead it’s a sleek look, but with a motorized head, a low-end sub-model that comes with a pair of basic brushes and a slot tool, and that’s it. Especially the V7 day surplus. Dyson has found other names for the basic sub-models.
Origin and Animalia come with relatively few attachments. The animal has no special appendix on the usefulness of cleaning pets. the “basic model with fewer attachments” has only been shortened. The same is true of Origin, though its name makes more sense.
Dyson isn’t above the combination of sub-model names, so you’ll see old stocks of V7 Motorhead Origins around if you’re looking around. Basically, the more names you give to the Dyson model, the more attachments it brings. For example, the V8 Animal Pro comes with more than just animals, but Animal Pro + comes with more than that.
