While Suzanne Rheinstein is an acclaimed designer House in Hancock Park, Los Angeles it is a studio with a layered neoclassical style, its home in Montecito is quiet. During her country’s idyllic retirement, she worked with the architecture firm Suzanne Bories and Shearron It was his 1971 home to completely transform his last “quiet house.” Please tag me and Susanna for a visit to a stage with Suzanne at the wonderful house in Montecito.
Inspired by the architecture of warm-weather destinations like Mallorca, Suzanne used the soft colors of tinted gypsum to blend the space inside and out and emphasize the outdoor life inside the warm Montecito.
The architects and Suzanne were able to redevelop the original house without altering the original footprint, adding new windows and doors to focus on Nancy Goslee Power’s friend Santa Ynez’s spectacular views of the mountains, new pools and gardens.
Inside, Suzanne shifted her signature focus to a whole new direction. The oversized but highly sophisticated interiors highlight the growing mix of selected purchases and a growing collection of paper artwork.
Never resting on his laurel, he has designed a new dialogue of personal spaces, and set aside formal entertainment with friends and family, especially his three beloved grandchildren, to achieve a quiet life.
With endless curiosity and open-mindedness, Suzanne has carried on her design lexicon without neglecting her deep appreciation for an elegant lifestyle and outstanding art and elegance. Thank you Suzanne for welcoming you to your divine paradise in Montecito!
