I’m out and around me and I don’t have a bag tucked into my body, I feel naked and unprepared, like going into a dungeon without any health potion. What should I do if I need a hat, should I bring a hat? How can I insert my phone, keys and face mask into my cropped jeans pockets? Where did I put the fresh rock? The extra storage capacity is key to carrying around on a daily basis, and it’s essential to rotate the bag to the front and have anything I need.
Backpacks are better for heavy loads or full-day trekking, but for lightweight daily necessities, there are nothing like messenger bags, sling packs and convertible hip packs. I’ve tried it dozens of years ago, and these are my favorites.
