The most fun game for kids to play – Wired PR Lifestyle Story

Last night, eight-year-old Anton and I went to see each other the Italian place in the neighborhood.

We ordered salads and pasta and sparkling water (“It’s spicy!” He said). Waiting for the food to arrive, he leaned back in his seat a bit, and suddenly I had an idea.

“Have you ever played MASH?”

No, he said.

I explained the rules of the riddle game I was obsessed with in high school (weren’t they all?):

MASH (Palace, Apartment, Cottage, House)
By imagining your future, you will list four things in different categories (e.g., spouse, job, possible pet), and then choose a number from 5 to 10. Then you count that number (say, 6) down the list and cross out every word you land (hence every sixth word); until the final answers. Boom! That is your future.

It turns out that with three men Anton will be a Hollywood menswear designer. “My fashion company is going to be very stylish,” she told me. “And I already have the best name.” He paused to emphasize. “Spear“.

The next morning we also played with Toby, who will be a Dallas athlete with 78 kids !!!
