GENEVA (Reuters) – World Health Organization scientists on Monday recommended mixing and matching COVID-19 vaccines from different manufacturers, saying it is a “dangerous trend” because there is little data on its impact on health.
“The trend is dangerous here. We are in an area with no evidence of data, as far as it can be confused and linked,” Soumya Swaminathan said in an online appearance.
“The situation in the countries will be chaotic if citizens start deciding when and who will take the second, third and fourth dose.”
